FROM THE AUTHOR

I intentionally set this devotional weekly with the purpose of internalizing the Biblical teaching gained through the devotional discipline. This internalization process must not be rushed and must be given time to settle in the hearts and to be practiced diligently. One week is good for each teaching to be processed by each family and for it to take root in the family. Each week, you will get one new Biblical teaching that is interconnected with one another to strengthen your parenting in the Lord. Exegetical exposition, which pays attention to the original languages of the Bible, each root word, meaning, nuances, grammar, and historical contexts, is employed carefully before applying into our today’s era, so as to bring out the true meaning of each Biblical passage. Moreover, the Bible is very educational in nature, in which one of its purposes is to educate God’s people how to live according to His will. In this devotional book, I am highlighting the educational purpose of the Bible and am presenting to you the will of God in Biblical parenting.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ferry Yang graduated from Trinity International University (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) with a PhD in Educational Studies, from Calvin Theological Seminary with an MA in Educational Ministries and an MDiv, and from Petra Christian University with a BA in Architecture.  Ferry has been a Professor in Education and Theology, Christian School Principal, Conference Speaker, Radio Speaker, Pastor, Counselor, Preacher, Curriculum Designer, and Published Author.  He is also the Founder and CEO of The Yang Academy.  Ferry was born and raised in Indonesia.  He and his family currently reside in Brownsburg, Indiana.
